1. Cook one part rice with two parts salted water in a large saucepan of water or rice cooker for 16-18 mins
2. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to a frying pan and add the beef stir-fry strips
3. Slice the onion and add to the frying pan once the beef is browned
4. Crush the garlic cloves and add to the frying pan with the soy sauce and honey then cook for 6-8 mins
5. Peel and slice the carrots and dice the broccoli then steam the carrots and broccoli for 8-10 mins
6. Add two teaspoons of vegetable and beef stock and 1 cup of water to a bowl with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and honey, slowly add to the stir fry stirring occasionally
