Pasta Red Sauce

2 Person - Pasta Red Sauce

Ingredients  
1 Tin Tomatoes
1/2 Broccoli
2 Cloves Garlic
1/2 (60g Onion
150g Spiral Pasta
   
   
From Your Pantry
 
50g Grated Cheese
2 teaspoons Vegetable or Chicken Stock
1/4 Teaspoon
Red Pepper Flakes or Cracked Pepper
1/2 Tablespoon Oil
 
1/2 Cup Water
1 Tablespoon
Tomato Puree (for extra punch)
1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium - low heat with 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes and cracked pepper
2. Add diced onion and cook for 5 minutes until soft, then add diced garlic2.
3. Add 1 can of tinned tomato with vegetable stock and bring the sauce to a simmer.
4. Add the pasta to a pot of boiling salted water for 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally until cooked through
5. Remove 1/2 cup water from the pasta pot and add to the sauce.
6. Drain the pasta and add to the sauce. Toss through until the pasta is all coated in the sauce
7. Add the broccoli to a pot of boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain the broccoli and add to the pasta.
8. Serve with cracked pepper and the grated cheese

4 Person - Pasta Red Sauce

4 teaspoons Vegetable or Chicken Stock
1/2 Teaspoon
Red Pepper Flakes or Cracked Pepper
1 Tablespoon Oil
1/2 Cup Water
2 Tablespoons Tomato Puree (for extra punch)
1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium - low heat with 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes and cracked pepper
